This is the home page of the Curriculum Insights and Progress Study foundation assessments.
Foundation assessments monitor progress in reading, writing and mathematics. In 2023, reading and mathematics were assessed; in 2024, writing and mathematics. From 2025, reading, writing and mathematics will be assessed every year.
