School roll return forms for September 2026 and historical September roll return forms may be downloaded from here. This return is for state and state-integrated schools with students in year 9-15, and all charter schools.
Collection forms
Most schools can complete their roll return using their student management system (SMS).
If your school does not use an SMS use the template form below. Completed forms must be received by the Data team no later than 8 September 2026. This return is for state and state-integrated schools with students in year 9-15, and all charter schools.
Please ensure you enter your school number on the front page and once completed, sign the declaration tab before sending – this is an audit requirement.
The excel template will be made available closer to the roll count date.
