This factsheet presents the method used by the Ministry of Education to determine the predominant field(s) of study of enrolled students and graduates at tertiary education providers. By predominant field(s), we mean the field(s) where people have done the most study. Previously, different approaches were used to determine students' and graduates' predominant field of study. Now, one method is used for both students and graduates.
