Contents: He Kete Raraunga

The data presented provides a snapshot of student achievement in pāngarau, tuhituhi and pānui as it relates to the Māori-medium curriculum. It also draws links between student achievement and attitudes, gender, length and type of immersion and frequency of Māori language spoken at home.

   The 'In Focus' reports present asTTle student achievement data in pāngarau, tuhituhi and pānui in Māori-medium primary settings. These reports are available in both English and Māori.

   The purpose of the 'Talk About It' sheet is to generate discussion and further thinking regarding some of the issues raised in the In Focus reports.

   The Māori-medium Student Outcomes report presents findings from asTTle and NCEA in Māori-medium education.

Māori-medium Student Outcomes

The Māori-medium Student Outcome Overview report presents findings from the Assessment Tools for Teaching and Learning (asTTle) and the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) in majority Māori-medium education across the years of schooling.

'Talk About It'

A table that can be used to analysing findings relevant to your own ākonga.
It includes some generic questions that kaiako whānau and kura can use. (e.g. Is this overall pattern of ākonga performance occuring in your kura?)
