PISA 2012 Data Services
The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) is an international standardised education research study of 15-year-olds. PISA 2003 is the fifth administration of a three-yearly OECD assessment which began in 2000. Sixty-five countries took part in PISA 2012.
Three key learning subject areas are assessed: mathematics, science and reading, with a main focus on one of these areas in each cycle. Mathematics is the main focus of PISA 2012, with a new topic: financial literacy, also being assessed for the first time.
