Service Type: Kindergarten Kindergartens are a type of education and care centre run by a kindergarten association, and licensed by the Ministry of Education. Most kindergartens offer services to children aged between two and five years.

Age: Service provides for 2 year-olds and over only The age groups that a service is licensed for. I.e. whether they are licensed for under 2 year olds or just two year olds and over.

Offers '20 hours': Yes 20 Hours allows for those aged three and over in licensed services to receive up to 20 hours a week of early childhood education with no compulsory fees. Unknown status has been assigned to new services that have not yet submitted an RS7 form to the Ministry of Education.
