This page provides addresses and other descriptive details of all New Zealand educational institutions, from early childhood centres through to tertiary education providers.

Please note: As of February 2008, new postcodes have been provided in the Directories.

The Ministry of Education maintains addresses and other descriptive details of all New Zealand educational institutions. This web-site contains a download of this information for each sector of education. These files are updated on a monthly basis. As all address details are provided by the institutions, the Ministry gives no indemnity as to the correctness of the information or data supplied.

Email Addresses

In the past email addresses were provided in the Directories. These were removed after the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 was released.

We have recently been in contact with schools and most have agreed to have their email addresses publicly released. These particular schools’ email addresses will be added when we next update the School Directory download. Please note that persons or organisations wishing to send email material to individuals or organisations whose email addresses appear in this directory must comply with the requirements of the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007, and in particular, publication of email addresses on this site should not be taken as deemed consent to receiving unsolicited email.

Some additional school email addresses are available for non-commercial purposes. Please contact the information officer at information.officer@minedu.govt.nz [no spam] for further information.

The Ministry has begun this process for early childhood centres. Email addresses’ for supporting centres will be available at a later date.
