Learning Areas
Schools must teach eight curriculum areas to Year 9 and Year 10 students: English, health and physical education, learning languages, mathematics and statistics, science, social sciences, technology, and the arts.
The curriculum for Year 11 to Year 13 students is more diverse. Secondary schools may change the subjects offered from year to year. The subjects listed below are based on actual student enrolments, however, it is a good idea to check with schools to confirm if specific subjects are available.
